IT'S SOAP BOX DERBY TIME!!! GENTLEMEN START BUILDING!!!
During the Lunch Brake of our Drag Racing Timing Crew we will have a Soap Box Derby on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of June 2012 on Chimay's designated drag strip, the end of the strip goes uphill and it's quite steep!
We'll see who will be the fastest one going downhill!
Get Creative and build a Soap Box Racer of your own!
The Rules are quite simple:
All cars must start by gravity without any aide from a total standstill, the cars are not allowed to have any means of propulsion other than gravity itself.
The drivers must wear a leather jacket, a helmet and gloves. Long pants and shoes are required as well.
The Drivers have to register at the Track Tower and sign off the liability waiver before they are allowed to race!
The drivers minimum age is 18years old, unless the parents sign the life of their children over in which case the minimum age is set at 14years old...
